Matt Schaeffer

Guy Fieri’s Tournament of Champions will be unlike anything you’ve seen before! This new Food Network cooking competition is here to change the game. The culinary competition will feature sixteen all-star chefs who will compete for a cash prize in a bracket-style tournament.

Some familiar faces are on the show. Former 2017 Cook Around The World celebrity chef, Richard Blais, and 2020 celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli will both compete against each other for the grand prize.

Alex Guarnaschelli is currently the host of Supermarket Stakeout on Food Network and executive chef at Butter Restaraunt in New York City. Guarnaschelli’s culinary career spans over 20 years, and she has appeared on multiple Food Network shows like Alex’s Day Off and Food Network Challenge Beat Bobby Flay. She has also judged culinary competition shows like Iron Chef GauntletChopped, and The Next Iron Chef, where she participated as a contestant to gain the coveted title of Iron Chef in 2012.

Richard Blais is a successful chef, restaurateur, James Beard-nominated cookbook author, and television personality. He is most recognizable as a recurring judge on Bravo’s Top Chef and the winner of Top Chef All-Stars. In addition to Top Chef, Blais appeared on Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen, Guy’s Grocery GamesCooks vs. Cons, and Celebrity Food Fight. He has also appeared on the FOX shows MasterChef and MasterChef Junior.
